MASTERPROTECTOR

For as long as he could remember, it’s just been him, the Master Emerald, and the floating rock named Angel Island. With a duty forced into his head, it’s his purpose to protect the Master Emerald from any sort of harm that would ever dare cross paths with it. So far, success has been spotty. It’s been taken a few times, shattered here and there, but it’s made it back to its rightful altar each and every single time, so make of that what you will.The Echidna protecting it? A spiky-fisted fighter named Knuckles. One of a dying race of ancient Echidnas, the sole successor of the Knuckles Tribe. A warrior at heart, his strength knows very few matches. Capable of shattering stone and heaving entire sections of earthen rock as though it were no sweat, punches can be thrown out like lighting. He’s a natural at footwork, too, ducking and dodging in-between hits to get in close. If innate durability must be used to tank a hit, then so be it. He’s a hardy one, that Knuckles. A struggle and a half to put down, let it be known that he’ll always go down swinging.Beyond super strength, heightened speed, and a hearty amount of durability, Knuckles owns a few special traits and abilities that can be of plenty use.

Gliding: So long as he has the height, gliding about the air is a noted skill many can see him frequently use. Air currents are handy, along with dipping down and transferring that momentum into a rocketing blast upward for height.Pyrokinesis: Engulfing his spiked gloves in flames packs a charred punch. It can inflict burning damage, along with heightening the overall heft of the hit in general. His control over the element is limited, no fireballs or what have you, but the self-spawned orange flame signals the literal heat being brought on.Flame Charge: A learned use for his flames has been what he dubs ‘Flame Charges’. It’s a store of fire steadily built within the glove, signaled by sizzling hisses and licking embers stemming from his glove. Once enough power is built, it can be released for an eruptive explosion akin to a shotgun blast, useful for sudden propulsion or explosive flair on the tail-end of a punch.Chaos Sensitive: As the Master Emerald’s guardian, there are a minute few that are as in-tune with Chaos Energy as Knuckles is. With this being the case, he can act as a living, breathing sensor for Chaos Energy, as well as enhance his abilities if there is any innate energy to spare.

Salutations! My name is Aaron, he/him, 21, and I appreciate you taking interest in my blog for Knuckles! This is far from my first venture into the Sonic the Hedgehog RPC, and in fact, this is a return to the first character I ever came into this rpc with! Hitting everything with a new coat of paint and an extra year and some change of experience to make this take of the character even better than before!Now, my rules are pretty laid back, I'd like to think, but there are still a few things that I'd like to state off the top.

1. This blog is Mutuals Only and Semi-Selective! If we follow each other, we're go for interactions of all sorts! Like everyone, I have my preferences, and I do apologize if I don't seem to click with you and don't end up following back.2. Crossovers are happily accepted and encouraged! If there is trouble to be had in making a particular crossover work, however, I would be more than happy to talk it out through IMs if you'd like to make the interaction happen.3. There will be no smut on this blog! Both the mun and muse are of age, but neither wants anything to do with it!4. General things that we all know by now: Mun does not equal Muse, hate will not be tolerated and lead into a quick block, don't godmod.5. This one is less a rule and more a notifier, but when it comes to writing, I prefer lengthier responses. Never ever is it required for you to match my length, but do keep this in mind if you'd just rather not with all of that.

Knuckles is in the Wreck It Ralph Universe! Instead of being the protector of the Master Emerald, he’s a selectable character in the arcade game Sonic The Fighters. He’ll travel to different games whenever he has the chance, but he’s definitely in his own game when Litwack’s Arcade is open, full of possible players. Assist Trophy wasn’t exactly the gig he wanted in the Super Smash Bros. tournament, but eh, he’ll take it. He can be frequently seen around the Smash Mansion whenever he’s not busy with Mobius things. Get the chance to call him into a match and he’ll fight tooth and nail for you! Outside of the match? He’s… amicable. Enough.
